Hola Fahrenhistas,
After a hectic few weeks we’re getting back on track here and are gearing up nicely for a great summer season full of lovely new books for you all.
Speaking of which, this week we’re delighted to publish the 4th book in Simon Hall’s ever popular Dan Groves Investigates series - The Judgement Book is available now to purchase in both eBook & Paperback editions.
All the books in this series are chock-full of problems, riddles and clues to be solved - you might want to read them with a pen & paper by your side to see if you can figure out the puzzles before Dan Groves does.
They most remind us of Colin Dexter’s Morse books or the Adam Dalgleish books from P.D. James - we can’t recommend them enough - a perfect way to while away the weekend.
In other news, with The Queens platinum jubilee fast approaching we’ve been racking our brains trying to think of a way to cash in mark this glorious money making opportunity celebration.
Finally it hit us, not only a way to raise some much needed cash to keep our publishing house running but also finally an opportunity to rip-off our favourite Sex Pistols shirt.
This God Save The Indies shirt is now available in a very limited edition.
While we’d love you to buy some books & merch from us if you can, we recognise that a lot of you are feeling the pinch at the minute as the cost of living rockets away, so every week we’re making a different book available to download for FREE.
This week’s book is a proper belter from real life Texan Bluesman Ricky Bush.
River Bottom Blues is the 1st book in Ricky’s super-cool The Crime Fighting Bluesmen series and you can download it direct from us all week long (or from Amazon on Saturday & Sunday this weekend).
This series is widely adored by readers - Ricky Bush’s knowledge of Blues music is second to none and even if you’re not a fan of the music we reckon you probably will be once you’ve finished these beauties.
Okay people, that’s pretty much all from us this week.
Next week among other things we’ll be sharing some news about the 3rd Manc Noir book by David Nolan.
If you’re out and about stay safe, look after each other and above all else be kind.
We kiss you
xx
P.S. We still have some copies left of the limited edition Abide With Me hardback on sale in our store for a very reasonable £12.95 (all profits to mental health charities in support of Mental Health Awareness Week).
