Hola Fahrenhistas,
We’ve all had a rough time over the last 18 months, right?
Sometimes it’s been an effort just to keep putting one foot in front of the other, right?
We feel the same - this has been the hardest time we can ever remember for Indie Publishers, it’s been a game of survival and sadly some of the our very favourite publishing houses didn’t make it through.
We’ve weathered the storm so far, mainly due to your herculean efforts to support us - we will never, ever forget that.
We’re not out of the woods yet though, the next 6 weeks trading up to Christmas will be the most critical period for our business since the pandemic started and we’re all focusing our minds for one final push.
We’ll be launching our Christmas store in the next week or so and we’ll be going at it with our customary gusto and our trademark never say die attitude. There’ll be loads of offers and special editions and festive freebies but the honest truth is that right now we’re all exhausted (as we imagine you must be too) so this week we’re going to take our feet of the pedals and just take a breath.
No announcements, no hard-sell, no hustle - just us thanking you for all the support you’ve given us over the last 18 months and hoping that when we launch our Christmas store you’ll support us one last time and help us over the finish line and into the brighter future that 2022 has to offer for all of us.
Stronger together…
We kiss you…
xx
P.S. Just a heads up though, last year to cheer ourselves (and all of you) up we dropped the whole Noir/Crime schtick and published A Very Fahrenheity Christmas…
It went down so well that we’ve decided to do something similar again this year - we don’t want to ruin the surprise but what we’ve got planned might just be THE MOST CHRISTMASSY THING EVER, just saying - keep your eyes peeled.
Thanks for your efforts. Enjoy your break!
