Beware of the bears...
Plus a MASSIVE 20% DISCOUNT just for you
Hola Fahrenhistas,
The day has finally arrived, Slowest Bear by Anthony Neil Smith is published and officially out in the world today.
If you pre-ordered you’ll either have received your copy this morning or it’ll be arriving at your door in the next day or two.
If you haven’t discovered Anthony Neil Smith’s books yet you’re in for a treat - the whole Fahrenheit collection is here…
We’ve got a bit of merch mountain building in the Fahrenheit Bunker so this weekend we’re gonna give you a MASSIVE 20% OFF all our T-Shirts - just enter promo-code MERCH20 at the checkout.
Last week we launched our merch range for this year’s Bloody Scotland Book Festival - and both versions seem to have gone well with you all - still time to get your hands on one of these beauties as we don’t appear to have attracted the attention of the copywrite lawyers yet - maybe we’re getting too subtle?
We also launched our USA ELECTION 2024 COLLECTION - it’s probably the most important US Election of our lifetime, not just for the USA but for everyone across the globe so if you share our view that the Democrats must win, show your support with these awesome shirts.
And of course if you’re already merch’d up to the max you can settle down with some of the best, most unique books you’re gonna find anywhere.
In other news, it’s now been a full week since we left Twitter and honestly we feel so much better for it.
If you’re thinking about it but aren’t sure, trust us - the world is so much nicer when Twitter isn’t part of it. It’s become such a cess-pit of anger, hate & disinformation.
We haven’t deleted our Twitter account - you never know, in the future with new management, it might evolve into something altogether less hateful - but for the time being we’re done with it.
You can find us on Instagram, Threads & Bluesky - we’re @fahrenheitpress on all 3.
Of the 3 we’ve found Threads to be the one we like the most so far - we introduced ourselves last week and over the weekend we gained over 2000 followers from a standing start. The atmosphere is much nicer, and our followers seem really engaged in books & bookish pursuits so if you like the sound of that maybe it’s the place for you.
It remains to be seen if any of them will help to sell books but frankly Twitter stopped doing that shortly after Musk took over so we won’t be any worse off.
Okay that’s all from us - go buy some books & merch - we could do with the support this month.
We kiss you.
xx
